University Representative for the world’s largest student startup competition
Dr. Björn Bronger has been appointed by the Luxembourg School of Business (LSB) as University Representative for the EF Hult Prize – in addition to chairing the jury of the LSB competition, a role he has held since 2024.
As University Representative, he is LSB’s official point of contact for the EF Hult Prize: he runs the local competition on campus and sends the winning team on to the national round.
For LSB students, this opens a path from the lecture hall to the global stage – and a shot at USD 1 million in seed funding.
About the EF Hult Prize
The EF Hult Prize is the world’s largest student startup competition, with more than 250,000 participants in over 130 countries every year. Teams of two to four students build for-profit startups that tackle at least one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The best teams advance from campus competitions via national events, a digital incubator and a global accelerator in the United Kingdom to the Global Finals, where one team wins USD 1 million in seed funding. The prize is backed by Bertil Hult, founder of EF Education First. The 2026 accelerator cohort alone secured USD 12.7 million in letters of intent.
